Details: The Metro 2436NC Super Erecta wire shelf is made of steel and reinforced with wire trusses and struts for strength, has a nickel chrome plated finish for durability and to resist dirt buildup and corrosion, and fits most Metro shelving units that are 36" wide and 24" deep. The shelf's open wire design permits air to circulate in the work environment, and resists dust build-up. The wire ribs on the shelf's surface run from front to back to facilitate sliding items on and off the shelf. Plastic split sleeves help secure the shelf to the shelving posts (sold separately). This wire shelf meets National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for food equipment, dry storage and heated environments only. It has an 800 lb. load capacity when evenly distributed across the shelf, and comes in a pack of four shelves.
