HiE-Coat 840-C is a single part ceramic-based, black-pigmented, high-emissivity coating for ceramic fiber modules and refractories used in heaters, ovens and furnaces to 2500°F (1371°C). Dramatically increases a refractory's ability to absorb and re-radiate energy, improving thermal efficiency and performance.Curing is accomplished by air-drying at room temperature for 1-2 hours, then curing for 1 hour at 200°F.On the picture HiE-Coat 840-C coats exhaust pipe insulation.
